About Me

Hello! I'm Kathleen Leeper, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) dedicated to supporting children, families, and educators through compassionate, evidence-based care. I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara and my master's degree in Exceptional Student Education from the University of West Florida.

With 15 years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), I have served as a Behavior Technician, Program Supervisor, Senior Clinical Supervisor, and Licensed Behavior Analyst, supporting families in both California and Virginia. I specialize in working with autistic individuals and their families, using evidence-based ABA practices to support meaningful skill development, communication, independence, and quality of life. My expertise includes parent training, caregiver coaching, and school consultation, helping families and educators better understand each child's unique strengths and support success across home, school, and community settings.

My approach is collaborative, individualized, and neuro-affirming. I partner with families and educators to develop practical strategies that build skills, support communication, and improve quality of life while honoring each child's individuality and autonomy. I am especially passionate about promoting inclusive environments that embrace neurodiversity, fostering understanding among peers, and helping create communities where neurodivergent individuals feel valued, respected, and empowered to thrive.

Outside of my professional work, I enjoy cooking, reading, and spending time with my husband and young daughter. I am committed to creating a welcoming and supportive experience for every family and school team I work with, and I look forward to partnering with you on your journey.
